Prepare for Revolution – Canada Marxist University starts this Wednesday!

Capitalism is dying. A capitalist future promises only economic decay, unending austerity, and environmental catastrophe. But capitalism will not go away on its own – it is up to people like us to put it out of its misery. It has never been more clear – the choice before us is socialism or barbarism. The only way out of this nightmare is socialist revolution. And as we wrote in our August newsletter – revolution is inevitable. It is not a matter of if – it is a matter of when. But winning depends on the conscious action of individual people. And the best thing we can do to prepare is to learn theory, learn the lessons of the past, and learn to apply our knowledge to the movements of today.
That’s why we’re organizing a Marxist University this fall, with a series of online events throughout September and October. There will be lectures and discussion on topics like the capitalist roots of racism, how to fight fascism, and the coming struggles in Alberta. We invite everyone who wants to learn about the revolutionary ideas of Marxism to register today. The first session is this Wednesday!
